Grand Prix

Welcome to the Grand Prix cottage. Here, with the Zandvoort Circuit visible from the bedroom window, we take you into the world of motor racing, racing drivers and fast cars.

This special cottage is immediately recognisable as it’s decorated in the bright colours of the Martini Racing stripes. Martini was the main sponsor of motor racing heroes Helmut Marko and Gijs van Lennep, when they won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1971. Nowadays, Helmut Marko is the manager of Max Verstappen, the pride of Dutch motor racing. Who knows, maybe Max will write Dutch motor racing history in 2020 when the first F1 Grand Prix since 1985 is held in Zandvoort?

The striking colours of the Martini Racing stripes are reflected in the decor throughout the cottage. You’ll see this in the wall and floor coverings as well as the furniture – every detail has been thought of. We’ve even styled the cottage with genuine motor racing memorabilia, including signed photos of Helmut Marko and Gijs van Lennep. However, the real showpiece is the steering wheel of the car with which they won Le Mans!

The racing theme is not limited to the ground floor of the Grand Prix cottage. The fun really begins upstairs in the hall, where you can take your seat in the race simulator (seats 2) and imagine you’re racing on the circuit. Will you beat your travelling companions? Cleverly hidden away under the race simulator you’ll find two fold-away beds.

The two bedrooms and bathrooms are also located on the first floor. One of the bedrooms offers you a view of the Rob Slotemaker Corner and the main grandstand of the circuit. The bedrooms are equipped with wonderful Auping mattresses; you can rest assured that you will wake up well-rested after a day at the circuit.

What makes this house so special?
At the Qurios Zandvoort Resort, we have built 4 very special cottages, each reflecting the special area in which our holiday park is located. We call them our statement cottages. Each statement cottage has its own theme; Grand Prix, Clear Nature, Denim and Coffee. A stay in one of these cottages is even more special than in the other accommodation our park. In addition to the attractive themed decor, the cottages also feature a number of luxurious extras.

The luxury starts in the kitchen. Cooking and dining play a prominent role in these cottages and the cookery enthusiast has been well catered for. The extensive kitchen is well-equipped with luxury appliances, beautiful crockery and a Quooker providing both boiling and sparkling water.

We worked on the decor of these cottages with a number of designers such as Hout van je Stad and Sam Berghuis who specialise in sustainable design. As soon as you enter the cottage you feel that it has been furnished with love and an eye for detail.

The beds in the cottages are fitted with Auping mattresses and you can choose from 3 different pillows. You’ll get a good night’s sleep on this vacation! The bathrooms are slightly larger than in the normal cottages and are equipped a luxury rain shower; ideal for relaxing after a day at the beach, a walk through the dunes or a race at the circuit.

Important: each cottage has one parking space available free of charge in our parking area. Do you come with more than one car? Then you can park them on the other side of the park in the public car park.
