Your dog is welcome at Qurios Bloemendaal aan Zee

Your four-legged friend doesn’t have to miss out on your holiday! Qurios Bloemendaal aan Zee has some dog-friendly accommodation that can welcome a maximum of one dog per cottage. The park is 100 meters from the beach, ideal for an invigorating walk together with your dog.

We ask you to bear in mind that not all our guests are fond of dogs. Dogs should be kept on a lead at all times and must never be left alone in the cottage. Dogs on the beach
There’s nothing better than a nice long walk on the beach with your dog. However, there are some rules about keeping your dog on a lead. Leads are compulsory during the following periods.

Summer period (May 15 to September 15)
During the summer period, dogs are only allowed on the following parts of the beach:
• Dogs on a leash are allowed in the beach pavilions, on the terraces and the path (not on the beach itself).
• The stretch of beach between the exit at Parnassia and the nudist beach.

Winter period (15 September to 15 May)
During the winter period, dogs on a lead are allowed everywhere in Bloemendaal aan Zee. Your dog can also run free on the stretch of beach between the exit at Parnassia and the nudist beach.

Dog walking off the lead in the Caprera Estate
The Caprera Estate is part of the Zuid-Kennemerland National Park and borders ‘t Kopje van Bloemendaal, the highest point of the Kennemer Dunes. Dogs are allowed to roam here all year round, except in the area around the theatre, close to the entrance. The estate has different types of woodland and has viewpoints with beautiful views towards Haarlem and Amsterdam. The park is surrounded by a fence and boasts a special dog playground and a clean lake where dogs can enjoy swimming. There is a marked hiking route, and cycling is not allowed. In short, it’s a wonderful area to walk your dog! A dayticket can be purchased at the ticket office at the entrance.

There is free parking on the right-hand side of the Zomerzorgerlaan and along the Hoge Duin and Daalseweg. There is a car park at the restaurant De Uitkijk (6, Daalseweg) and also a large car park with more than 200 places a little further away at the end of the Hoge Duin and Daalseweg.
